Recovery After 2 Very Busy Days

Life in the little library continues its "hectic" pace as our customers have
discovered that school really is out and they've got to get started on the
summer reading, plus get signed up for "Summer Quest", and do everything
all at once. So we're running out of SQ / Summer Reading books even before
we can get them organized in a special display. But its nice to see all the kids.
Cantare' came this afternoon with a program of Latino music and dance and
it gave our new summer worker, Mai, who just started this morning a chance to
set up a display for the program.

Its Saturday morning and we've got the whole branch functioning, sort of. First call
was to tell us we still had our answering machine on. Oh well. First question was for
some books on "beauty pageants" and none of ours were suitable. Didn't think she
wanted "Little Miss Sunshine".
